Gwen Wong, Chief Embryologist
Ms Gwen Wong is the Chief Embryologist at Alpha IVF Singapore. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Embryology from the University of Leeds, UK, an institution known for its strong foundation in reproductive science.
Gwen has over 10 years of experience working as an Embryologist in Singapore, where she has developed solid expertise in key assisted reproductive technologies (ART), including IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, cryopreservation, and embryo transfer. Her meticulous approach and commitment to the highest laboratory standards have helped many hopeful parents take confident steps on their fertility journeys.
As Chief Embryologist, Gwen leads the laboratory team with a focus on precision and ethical practice. She is passionate about improving outcomes through continuous learning and staying at the forefront of reproductive science.
At the heart of Gwen’s work is a simple but powerful belief: that every embryo represents a unique story of hope. With this perspective, she treats every case with the care, respect, and attention it deserves.
Priscilla Saw, Trainee Embryologist
She currently serves at Alpha IVF Centre & Alpha Women’s Specialists in Singapore as a trainee embryologist, where she performs a wide range of clinical embryology procedures including gamete handling, fertilization, cryopreservation, and quality assurance in accordance with Singapore’s Ministry of Health regulations.
She brings over six years of experience as an embryologist from her tenure at Genesis IVF & Women’s Specialist Centre in Malaysia, where she developed strong expertise in assisted reproductive technologies and advanced clinical procedures.
She earned a Master’s Degree in Developmental Biology and Embryology from IVI RMA Global Education and a Master of Biotechnology in Molecular Medicine from University of Science, Malaysia. Her academic foundation was built with a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from AIMST University, where she gained practical experience in microbiology and protein analysis.
Her work is driven by scientific precision, a passion for helping couples achieve parenthood, and a deep commitment to ethical standards and continuous learning in the evolving field of reproductive science.
