Mrs. Billie is a 33-year-old female.
Mr. Billie is a 37-year-old male.
Mr and Mrs. Billie were married for 5 years and had delivered to a child naturally. Currently, the child is 18 months old. Since then, the couple has been trying to conceive. They decided to come to Alpha IVF Centre to consult Dr Tan.
- Try to conceive on their own with no certainty
- Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI) / Superovulation Intra-Uterine Insemination (SOIUI)
- In vitro fertilization (IVF)
The couple decided to go for IUI and did their counselling and financial counselling for IUI.
The couple booked an appointment with Dr Tan for the next day on Day 1 of her menses. The ovulation induction for IUI started on her Day 2 of menses. After 10 days of ovulation induction, the couple came back for the procedure on the scheduled date. The semen sample produced by Mr. Billie was processed and transferred in Mrs. Billie’s uterus. On the 10th day after IUI, Mrs. Billie was tested beta positive, indicating successful pregnancy.
